Siya Market’s purpose is to facilitate connections and business opportunities between Nigerian suppliers and international buyers.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
By registering for an account, accessing, or using Siya Market, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are a supplier, you also agree to comply with the platform’s listing rules, applicable Nigerian laws and regulations, and any other laws that may apply to your products, services, or transactions with international buyers.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the platform.
3. Registration
Access to certain features may require the creation of a user account.
Users agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and to keep their information updated when necessary.
Each account is personal to the registered user or business and must not be used for fraudulent or unauthorized purposes.
Suppliers may be required to provide additional information or documentation to verify their identity or business activities.
4. Listing Rules
Suppliers agree to publish only lawful, accurate, and legitimate listings.
Product and service descriptions must be truthful and must not contain misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive information.
Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that their listings comply with applicable laws and regulations, including regulations concerning the sale, export, import, and delivery of products where applicable.
Siya Market reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or the platform’s policies.
Fraudulent, misleading, prohibited, or unlawful activity may result in the suspension or termination of the supplier’s account.
5. Communication and Reviews
Siya Market may allow users to communicate with each other through private messaging or other communication features provided by the platform.
Buyers may also leave reviews and ratings regarding their experience with suppliers, products, or services.
Siya Market reserves the right to moderate, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or the platform’s content policies.
Users must not use the platform’s communication features to send fraudulent, abusive, threatening, misleading, or unlawful content.
6. Responsibility and Liability
Siya Market acts primarily as an intermediary platform connecting suppliers and buyers.
Siya Market does not directly manufacture, own, or sell the products listed by suppliers and is not a party to transactions between suppliers and buyers unless expressly stated otherwise.
Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the legality and quality of their products or services, order fulfillment, and any obligations arising from their transactions with buyers.
Buyers are responsible for making informed purchasing decisions and for communicating directly with suppliers regarding products, prices, shipping, delivery, returns, and other transaction-related matters.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Siya Market shall not be responsible for losses arising from transactions or disputes between suppliers and buyers.
7. Security and Access
Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for taking reasonable steps to protect their accounts.
Users must immediately notify Siya Market if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.
Siya Market takes reasonable measures to maintain the security and reliability of the platform. However, no online platform can guarantee uninterrupted availability or complete protection against all technical issues, security incidents, or unauthorized access.
